Pinafores in Princeton // Forever 21 Fall Fashion Finds
Today, I wanted to share another one of my favorite fall fashion finds from Forever 21. I can’t wait to style these pieces in different ways as the temperature begins to drop. My first take on this outfit is classic and sophisticated. Keep on reading to see why I chose these pieces and how I build my wardrobe.
My Fall Color Palette
I always purchase items that are versatile and complement one another. My color palette this fall consists of cream, black, burgundy, navy, mustard and grey. I usually look for pieces that can transition from 70 degree weather to those cooler 50 degrees days we’ve begun to experience. As for patterns, plaid and stripes are my perennial favorites. I think that these patterns are timeless and classic.
The Outfit
I recently found this cute and classy glen plaid pinafore dress from Forever 21. I paired it with a soft ribbed black mock neck from Forever 21, my favorite Zara coat from a past season and some heeled Zara boots. This lightweight shirt was great to layer under the dress and kept me warm on a cooler day. Paired with a pea coat from Zara and some heeled boots, it was a perfect pairing for exploring Princeton. I think that this outfit will be perfect for Thanksgiving with family and friends, too. I love how affordable each piece was. Both items are well made and fit true to size. I purchased an XS in the pinafore dress and a S in the mock neck top, for reference. You can shop the items below, too!
Ajiten
Tucked below ground is a wonderful gem of a sushi/ramen restaurant in Princeton. You wouldn’t quite notice it if it weren’t for the sign. Trust me, it’s worth a visit. For dinner we grabbed some sushi, ramen and a chirashi bowl from Ajiten. It was delicious as always and the cuts of fish were so tender and fresh. We ordered some otoro, a regular chirashi bowl, and miso ramen. The meal also came with a bowl of miso soup with seaweed and tofu. Overall, the meal hit the spot and we were so satisfied afterwards.
I hope you got some inspiration from this blog post! Please comment down below which fall trends you’re loving because I would love to know. Personally, I am loving all the plaid and leopard print! Happy November!
